OUR STORY

How we started

I was born in New York, New York and grew up in Calgary, Alberta. I am a working mom with little children at home – a four year old, six year old and eight year old. I have been an artist for many years, doing acrylic painting and maternity and newborn photography as past-times. 

I actually started face painting at my daughter’s birthday party. I splurged on some professional paints and materials, because I wanted to put only the safest and healthiest products on my children. It was at the party that I realized I have a knack for face painting and I fell in love with it. Soon after, I started my business and have continued to grow my skills taking workshops, watching online tutorials and now teaching others.

For me, face painting is a wonderful creative outlet. I find that I have a great dynamic with my clients and I find it rewarding to paint someone’s face and see their thrill and excitement at their final transformation. I should thank my children for getting me into the business. They love having their face painted and on a weekly basis it seems, they put on costumes and run around the house!

My goal is to bring colorful creativity to your event and to bring a sparkle to your child’s eyes. I care about doing detailed, quality work and bringing excellent customer service to your event. I have a talented group of artists who work with me to make your event unforgettable.
